Maintenance Supervisor – The Reserve on Bayou Desiard 

Are you an experienced maintenance professional ready to lead a team and make a meaningful impact? The Reserve on Bayou Desiard, a premier residential community managed by Vintage Realty Company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and execute maintenance operations with excellence, safety, and customer service in mind. 

About the Role: 
 As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community.  Your leadership will directly support a high-quality living experience for our residents by ensuring timely repairs, preventative maintenance, and an aesthetically pleasing environment throughout the property.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and assist with apartment “make-ready” process for all vacant units

  • Complete service requests and work orders promptly and professionally

  • Perform and supervise repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and irrigation systems

  • Conduct regular inspections of the property and vacant units

  • Maintain HVAC systems, pool equipment, and related logs

  • Keep storage and parts areas organized, safe, and secure

  • Track and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies

  • Work closely with the Property Manager to manage expenses within budget

  • Participate in rotating on-call duties and weekend coverage as required

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

  • Perform other duties as assigned 
 
Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair)

  • At least 3 years of apartment or multi-family property maintenance experience

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Customer service oriented with excellent communication abilities

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance

  • Willingness to complete a criminal background check and drug screening

  • HVAC certification 

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
On-call and weekend availability required on a rotating basis
